The Tanzania Federation of Co-operative (TFC) Ltd, one of the EAFF members implementing the SFOAP, convened a national workshop to kick-start the implementation of SFOAP related activities and particularly  their dairy value chain action plan.

The workshop aimed to familiarize with key stakeholders along the dairy sector in Tanzania and particularly to: (i) Provide an overview of the project to different actors of the sector; (ii) Present the results of the already implemented activities along the case study sites; (iii) Gather information/inputs from farmers and other stakeholders experienced in the sector and activities targeted under SFOAP.

The workshop took place at Blue Pearl Hotel in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania on 12th March 2015 and it was opened by officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Co-operatives.
